Children and Obesity

One in five children and adolescents in the U.S.A. is overweight; in other words, about 13% of children and 14% of adolescents are overweight. Being overweight is defined as being in the 85th percentile of the body mass index (BMI).

I work with elementary students and I am not exaggerating some of the students their BMI are 28 percentile to 40% percentile which is considered over weight to dangersly obese This is a sad story of twenty first century.

How can we allow it?
